Sketches from Tokyo.

Just like a croquis in architecture, sketching with a camera is just, like Sean Tucker would say, taking visual notes.
In other words, it’s just a gesture, a movement, an impulse. It is instinct. It doesn’t need to be perfect, doesn’t have to be sharp, it doesn’t need to be in focus. It is an exercise, just as important as the ones you choose to be your final work. In street photography, it has to do with reaction, but also with composition and timing. That’s something I’m enjoying a lot lately and I’ll try to keep doing it on regular basis. So please, enjoy these gone-wrong pictures.
Hope you like it!
